Center’s 2004-2005 season announced

In addition to the Lied Center’s 10th anniversary and the Kansas University Concert Series’ 100th anniversary celebrations Saturday, officials at the Lied Center released the schedule for the 2004-2005 season:

  • Oct. 19: Prague Philharmonia, Bohumil Kulinsky, conductor, Ivan Zenaty, violin soloist
  • Nov. 16: Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater
  • Feb. 26, 2005: Teatro Lirico D’Europa in Bizet’s “Carmen”
  • April 15, 2005: Jubilant Sykes, baritone

Swarthout Chamber Music Series

  • Oct. 10: Cypress String Quartet
  • Nov. 14: Camerata Sweden (orchestra sans conductor)
  • Feb. 13, 2005: Brentano String Quartet
  • April 3, 2005: Zuill Bailey, cello, with Robert Koenig, piano
