Susan A. Brumbaugh

Mrs. Brumbaugh died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at a Topeka hospital. She was cremated.

She was born Feb. 21, 1961, in Lawrence, the daughter of Etcil and Jean Perkins Winters. She graduated from Perry-Lecompton High School.

Mrs. Brumbaugh worked for Hallmark Inc. in Topeka. She volunteered in the Cum Joy Nus Family Community Education Club and was an auxiliary member of the Kaw Township Fire Department.

She married Douglas W. Brumbaugh on May 31, 1980, in Perry. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include her mother, Perry; two brothers, Rodger Winters, Meriden, and Lyle Winters, Wichita; and two sisters, DeLores Walden, Berryton, and Barbara DeWilde, Grantville.

The family suggests memorials to the Grantville Fire Department or the Center for Basic Cancer Research at Kansas State University, sent in care of the funeral home, 1035 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka 66608.
