Indianapolis New Jersey Nets coach Lawrence Frank rested Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin on Friday against the Indiana Pacers.
Kidd and Martin each returned to the Nets lineup on Tuesday after battling left knee injuries. Kidd has a bone bruise, while Martin has tendinitis.
Both played in Thursday's win over Orlando, but Frank said he wasn't about to risk anything on the second night of a back-to-back set.
With the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference sewn up, Frank has the luxury of playing without his two All Stars.
