Rugby Tourney: Kansas University will play host to the Western Rugby Football Union women’s collegiate tournament this weekend at Westwick complex south of Lawrence. Matches will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The final will be at 1 p.m. Sunday.

KU Soccer Clinic: Kansas University’s soccer team will conduct a two-hour clinic at 5 p.m. Friday at SuperTarget Field for kindergarten through eighth-graders. For information, call Kelly Miller at 864-3560.

Bauer Hole-in-One: Jake Bauer used a five-iron to ace the 140-yard, No. 3 hole Saturday at Ottawa Hickory Hollow. Witnesses were Eddy Jones, Chris Edstrum and Brian Young.

- Soccer Academy: Kansas University soccer coach Mark Francis and Free State High counterpart Jason Pendleton have created the Kansas Soccer Academy to train second- through eighth-graders. The first sessions will begin Monday. For information, call 830-0906.
- LTC Parents Meeting: Lawrence Track Club will conduct a meeting at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the Lawrence High commons area for participants’ parents.

- Deo Mat Champ: Scott Deo of Coyotes Wrestling Club earned a gold medal at last weekend’s Kansas Folkstyle Wrestling championships. Teammate Chris Coons earned a silver medal. Also placing for the Coyotes were K.J. Siebert (fourth) and Jesse Hardy (sixth).
- Strength camp: Kansas University strength and conditioning director Chris Dawson will run a speed and strength camp for football coaches and athletes from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 24 at Anderson Family Strength and Conditioning Center. Several topics will be covered at the event including weight training, plyometrics, speed development, agility, flexibility and nutrition/supplementation.
