Lorene Dansker

Mrs. Dansker died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 7, 1925, in Protection, the daughter of Ira C. and Nellie Mae (Watts) Rule.

Mrs. Dansker worked in retail sales for several years. She was a past member of Order of the Eastern Star in Yukon, Okla.

She married Eugene Dansker, who died earlier.

Survivors include three sons, Calvin Gaskin and Alan J. Dansker, both of Lawrence, and Howard F. Gaskin, Woodland Park, Colo.; two sisters, Pauline Thompson, Hutchinson, and Ruth Fraizer, Detroit; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Assn., sent in care of the funeral home.
