Sutton services

Clinton ? A celebration of life for Loretta Sutton, 95, Overbrook, will be from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Clinton Township Hall.

Mrs. Sutton died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, at her home. She was cremated.

She was born Aug. 3, 1908, the daughter of Edward and Emma (Baber) Shaw.

Mrs. Sutton taught in several one-room schoolhouses in rural Douglas County before becoming a homemaker. She was a 4-H leader and active in Douglas County Home Extension Units, Farm Bureau and Associated Women of the World. She also was a member of Clinton Historical Society.

Survivors include a son, William Sutton, Overbrook; a daughter, Jane Buttenhoff, Overbrook; two granddaughters; and a great-grandson.
