Ruth M. Jeffery

Eudora ? Services for Ruth M. Jeffery, 79, Eudora, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, Eudora Chapel. Burial will be in Eudora Cemetery.

Mrs. Jeffery died Monday, Sept. 1, 2003, at her daughter’s home in Eudora.

She was born Jan. 23, 1924, in Calico Rock, Ark., the daughter of Robert Thomas and Julia Florence (Bunch) Dalrymple. She graduated from Calico Rock schools.

Mrs. Jeffery was a homemaker and attended Eudora Assembly of God Church.

She married J.H. Jeffery on July 11, 1942, in Melbourne, Ark. He died Feb. 27, 1998.

Survivors include two daughters, Julia De Mott and Mary Neis, both of Eudora; a brother, Howard Dalrymple, Searcy, Ark.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to Visiting Nurses Assn. or the church, sent in care of the mortuary, 1003 John L. Williams Drive, Eudora 66025.
