Tebe services

Mr. Tebe died Friday, Aug. 29, 2003, at his home.

He was born June 25, 1935, in Seminole, Okla., the son of Arthur and Muna Tebe.

Mr. Tebe attended Haskell Indian Nations University and later served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired as a painter in 1997 from Kansas University.

He was a member of the Seminole Tribe of Oklahoma.

Survivors include a son, Richard J, Lawrence, and four grandchildren.

A daughter, Ginger I. McHugh, died earlier.

Friends may call from noon until 9 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The family suggests memorials to the Lawrence Humane Society, sent in care of the funeral home.
