Kansas 4-0 in Mexico

? Kansas University’s women’s basketball team completed a perfect weekend with a pair of exhibition victories Sunday.

They Jayhawks went 4-0 during their trip to Mexico, following a 102-32 rout of Ex-A-Tec and a 97-51 victory over Multielan.

Five Jayhawks scored in double figures in the first game, led by sophomore Tamara Ransburg’s 30 points to go with 10 rebounds. Crystal Kemp added 15 points and seven rebounds, and Nichelle Roberts had 12 rebounds, including eight offensive boards.

In the second game, the Jayhawks defeated a squad made up of members from the 2000 Mexican University national championship team. Kemp led the way for KU with 27 points. Blair Waltz scored 14 points and Larisha Graves 10.

Aquanita Burras led all players with five steals.
