Don’t be surprised if you see hordes of ghouls, witches, elves and werewolves prowling through Lawrence’s downtown early Friday evening.

Downtown Lawrence Inc. is sponsoring a trick or treat night from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday through the downtown.

Merchants will greet children with sweet treats and Halloween trinkets.
