The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic in the region this week:

Interstate 70 from the Shawnee/Wabaunsee County line to Valencia Road interchange, traffic restricted and eastbound Exit 347 ramp closed for road reconstruction.

Interstate 70 from the Polk/Quincy viaduct to Rice Road, traffic reduced to one lane in each direction during nonrush hours for sealing, patching and striping.

Kansas Highway 10 from Lexington Avenue to Kill Creek, traffic reduced to one lane each direction.

I-70 at Interstate 635, traffic placed on existing westbound lanes for road reconstruction. I-635 between Metropolitan Avenue and Parallel Parkway, traffic placed on existing southbound lanes for road reconstruction. Several associated ramps closed.

Interstate 35 from I-635/U.S. Highway 69 interchange to Lamar Avenue, traffic reduced to one lane between 8 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday for sealing, patching and striping.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills, 7:30 p.m. today, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Mo.

Interstate 435 from Lackman Road to I-35, two right westbound lanes closed between 7 p.m. Thursday and 6 a.m. Monday for bridge repair.

Sixth Street at Lawrence Avenue, westbound traffic reduced to one lane for intersection improvements.

Stevens Drive from Lawrence Avenue to Wellington Road, traffic interruptions for milling and overlay.

Ninth Street from Rockledge Road to Iowa Street and Rockledge Road from Ninth Street to Yale Road, interruptions for milling and overlay.

Massachusetts Street south of Seventh Street, closed to through traffic for crosswalk improvements.

600 block of Walnut Street, closed during work day for line installation.

11th Street from Haskell Avenue to the railroad tracks, closed for road improvements.

15th Street at Research Park Drive, eastbound traffic reduced to one lane during the day for road improvements.

Wakarusa Drive at 16th Street, southbound traffic reduced to one lane during the day for road improvements.

15th Street at Kasold Drive, reduced to one lane in each direction for intersection improvements.

21st Street from Kentucky to Massachusetts streets, closed one day this week for milling and overlay.

East Hills Drive and Greenway Circle, interruptions for concrete repairs.
