Huckfeldt JGC Winner: Ron Huckfeldt fired a 77 and won last Sunday’s Jayhawk Golf Club tournament at Alvamar by three strokes over Kent Beisner and Mike Naegele. Van Reichert carded an 81. In net scoring, Dean Hilker, Tom Lohmeyer and Pete Whitenight were low, all with 71s.

• Leonardi Shines: Celeste Leonardi of Lawrence finished second in the women’s ages 55-59 age group at last Sunday’s Wichita Marathon. Leonardi was timed in 4:27:28.

• Strikers White Win: Cassie Pannell, Chris Pannell, Anna Ashcraft and Kendal Forio scored goals as Lawrence Strikers White blanked K.C. Legends, 4-0, in girls soccer at Olathe Heritage Park.
