The future groom is a 1984 Lawrence High School graduate. He attended Fort Scott Community College and Kansas University. He is accounts manager for Grandstand Sportswear and Glassware.

The couple plan a Nov. 1 wedding at Circle S Ranch in Lawrence.

The future bride is the daughter of Kevin Ross, Leawood, and Melody Ross, Topeka. She is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in geology at Kansas University, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in geology. She is employed at the U.S. Geological Survey in Lawrence.

The future groom is the son of Ron and Bonnie Schmidt, Kaukauna, Wis. He is a graduate of Kaukauna High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering at Marquette University, Milwaukee. He is employed at Dornoch Medical Systems in Riverside, Mo.

The couple plan a Nov. 1 wedding at First United Methodist Church in Lawrence.

The future groom is the son of William and Sheila Hubbell, Olathe. He is a graduate of Wamego High School and JCCC. He is employed at the Dillard’s Distribution Center.
