Manhattan ? Free State High’s Lacey Baxter finished third in the all-around, leading the city gymnastics squads Saturday at the Manhattan Invitational.

Baxter finished with a score of 35.9.

Lawrence High had three gymnasts compete. Meredith West was sixth in the all-around with a score of 34.7, while Nicole Jones finished 12th in all-around (32.95). Ellie Lloyd also competed for the Lions.

Both teams were missing gymnasts because of conflicting school activities and didn’t keep team scores.

LHS and Free State will compete in a quad at 6 p.m. Wednesday at LHS.
