Autumn accessories

Pam Hamill is ready to decorate for the fall season.

Hamill has owned and operated Hamill’s Country Gardens, 1236 N. 100 Road, for eight years. In the fall, Pam stocks her emptied greenhouses with centerpieces, wreaths and other decorative items for customers wanting ready-made autumn accessories. Pam also carries mums, pumpkins and gourds for do-it-yourself decorators.

The highlight of her property, though, is not for sale. It’s a six-sided glass gazebo constructed from large industrial windows which Hamill enjoys decorating for each season. The gazebo is accented with seasonal vignettes featuring gourd ghosts, pumpkin filled window-boxes, candles and bittersweet.

Segments include a trip to Hamill’s Country Gardens, a demonstration by Karen Pendleton on how to make a fall swag, a “Room for Improvement” contest update and a new Sunrise Garden Center tip of the week.
