Former city planner may be Georgia bound
A onetime director of the Lawrence-Douglas County Planning Office is a finalist for a similar post in Savannah, Ga.
The Rocky Mount (N.C.) Telegram reported Roger Hedrick was one of three candidates for the new Chatham County-Savannah, Ga., Metropolitan Planning Commission executive director’s position.
Hedrick, 60, who has been director of the Rocky Mount Planning Board and Board of Adjustment the past two years, was planning director in Lawrence from 1977 to 1980.
