The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic in the region this week:

Interstate 70 from the Shawnee/Wabaunsee county line to Valencia Road interchange, traffic restricted and eastbound Exit 347 ramp closed for road reconstruction.

I-70 from the Polk/Quincy viaduct to Rice Road, reduced to one lane in each direction during nonrush hours for sealing, patching and striping.

Douglas County Road 1029 from North 2050 and North 1800 roads, closed for road construction. Detour posted.

I-70 at Interstate 635, traffic placed on existing westbound lanes for road reconstruction. I-635 between Metropolitan Avenue and Parallel Parkway, traffic placed on existing southbound lanes for road reconstruction. Several associated ramps closed.

Interstate 35 from I-635/U.S. Highway 69 interchange to Lamar Avenue, reduced to one lane between 8 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday for sealing, patching and striping.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cleveland Browns, noon today, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, Mo.

Sixth Street at Comet Lane, westbound traffic reduced to one lane for intersection improvements.

Sixth Street and Kasold Drive intersection, reduced to one lane each direction for improvements.

Sixth Street at Lawrence Avenue, westbound traffic reduced to one lane for intersection improvements.

Moundview Drive from Century Drive to Rockledge Road, occasional lane closures for line installation.

15th Street at Kasold Drive, eastbound traffic reduced to one lane for intersection improvements.

Iowa Street from 15th to 19th streets, southbound traffic reduced to one lane during the work day for curb replacement.

Kansas University men’s basketball vs. Pittsburg State, 7 p.m. Tuesday, Allen Fieldhouse, KU campus.

11th Street from Haskell Avenue to the railroad tracks, closed for road improvements.

15th Street from Haskell Avenue to Brook Street, closed to through traffic for road improvements.
