Wilma A. Clark

? Services for Wilma A. Clark, 81, Kennewick, Wash., will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church in St. Marys. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys.

Mrs. Clark died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, after suffering a stroke at Beverly Health Care facility in Kennewick.

She was born Dec. 16, 1921, in Corning, the daughter of James P. and Minna D. (Beck) Alexander. She moved with her family to Soldier, where she attended grade school. She attended high school in Soldier and Circleville, graduating from Soldier High School in 1939. The family lived in Houston from 1940 to 1946, then returned to Kansas. She lived in Topeka and Lawrence before moving to Kennewick with her sister in 1999.

Mrs. Clark was an accountant for the state of Kansas in Topeka and later worked for Kansas University.

She married August R. Clark on April 22, 1949. He died of cancer in 1992.

Survivors include a sister, Betty Alexander, Kennewick, and several nephews and nieces.

Piper-Verschelden Funeral Home in St. Marys is in charge of arrangements.
