Dallas ? Cedric Benson of Texas, Oklahoma’s Dan Cody and Wes Welker of Texas Tech were named Big 12 Conference players of the week Monday.

Benson rushed for 174 yards and scored three touchdowns in a 31-7 Texas win over Nebraska.

Cody forced a fumble, had four tackles for losses and three sacks in Oklahoma’s 52-9 win over Oklahoma State.

Welker set an NCAA Division One record for most punt returns for touchdowns by picking up his eighth in Texas Tech’s 26-21 win over Colorado.
