Mandy and Branden Banks

Mandy Mundinger, Baldwin, and Branden Banks, Herington, were married March 22, 2003, at First United Methodist Church, Baldwin, with the Revs. Nanette Roberts and George Mundinger officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Tom and Brenda Mundinger, Baldwin. The groom is the son of Ronnie and Janet Banks, Herington.

Maid of honor was Molly Mundinger. Bridesmaids were Tishamy Banks, Angie Bell and Christin Schmidt.

Best man was Josh Alexander. Groomsmen were Ryan Rusco, Jacob Tuttle and Clint Biehler.

Flower girl was Hannah McDonald. Junior groomsman was Will McDonald. Thomas and Annie Barb were guest book attendants. Ushers were Rich Bartow, Craig Idacavage, Brandon Jameson and Todd McAtee. Hosts and hostesses were Pete and Cheryl McDonald, and Brad and Pam Schick.

A reception was given at the Ramada Inn in Lawrence. The couple took a honeymoon trip to the Bahamas.

The bride is a graduate of Baldwin High School and Highland Community College. She graduated from Southwestern College with a Bachelor of Science in biology. She is a scientific specialist for Quintiles Inc. in Kansas City, Mo.

The groom is a graduate of Herington High School. He graduated from Southwestern College with a Bachelor of Science in sports management and a Bachelor of Arts in computer science. He is a loan sales representative for Brooke Credit Corp. in Overland Park.

The couple reside in Lenexa.

Blain-Traylor

Carrie Blain and Tom Traylor, both of Springfield, Ore., were married Sept. 20, 2003, in Eugene, Ore., with Jim Bradshaw officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Bill Blain, Eugene, Ore., and the late Doris Blain. The groom is the son of Margaret Elvig, Lawrence, and the late Joe Traylor.

Maid of honor was Sara Traylor. Best man was Steven Traylor. Groomsman was William Blain. Marina Brandon was flower girl.

A reception was given at The Beacon House in Eugene, Ore.

The bride is a 1976 graduate of Churchill High School, Eugene, Ore. She is a legal assistant.

The groom is a 1965 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 1969 graduate of Kansas University. He is an insurance claims adjuster.

The couple reside in Springfield, Ore.

Jessica and Wade Mooney

Jessica M. Todd and Wade A. Mooney, both of Lawrence, were married Aug. 16, 2003, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Gary Teske officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John Todd, Lenexa, and Janet Price, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Kevin and Debbie Mooney, Perry.

Maid of honor was Salena Mooney. Best man was Matt Webster. Becky Todd was bridesmaid. Groomsman was Jason Stieben. Flower girl was Maddison Felton. Ring bearer was Steven Boyd. Ushers were Travis Crum and Jeff Cassity. Brandy French was guest book attendant. Amber Baston was gift table attendant. Kim Meseraull was program attendant.

A reception was given at the Knights of Columbus.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Lawrence High School. She has been employed at Huhtamaki for four years.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School. He has been employed at Hallmark Cards for seven years.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Stephen and Laura Blanchard

Laura M. House and Stephen M. Blanchard Jr., both of Lawrence, were married Oct. 6, 2003, at the Sandals Royal Bohemian Beach Resort in Nassau, Bahamas, with the Rev. Warren K. Anderson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Harlan and Cora House, Goodland. The groom is the son of Stephen Blanchard, Sanford, N.C., and Nancy Sipe, Lewisville, N.C.

A reception was given at the resort.

The bride is a 1992 graduate of Goodland High School. She received a Bachelor of Science in architectural engineering from Kansas State University in 1998. She is a licensed engineer for Hoss & Brown Engineers in Lawrence.

The groom is a 1984 graduate of Derby High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in architecture in 1990 from Kansas University. He is a licensed architect working as a project manager and architect for Joel Fritzel Construction in Lawrence.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

The bride is the daughter of Barry and Debbie Lowther, Kansas City, Mo., and Denny Wake, Camdenton, Mo. The groom is the son of Chris and Terry Parker, Lawrence.

Matron of honor was Kim Brumley. Best men were Jason Parker and William Parker. Bridesmaids were Michelle Cusick, Sarah McLees and Dominique Butell. Groomsmen were Chris Allen and Mike Kalinichenko.

Candle lighters were Krystal and Aaron Johnson. Flower girl was Raeann Brumley. Steven Moody was ring bearer. Usher was Tony Brumley.
