Lynda Marie Ross

Mrs. Ross died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 28, 1951, in San Francisco, the daughter of Ernest and Mildred Demaree Pretor.

Mrs. Ross was a homemaker. She also worked at various businesses in the Lawrence area.

She married Howard Lee Ross on Sept. 19, 1992, in Lawrence. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include six stepdaughters, Gayle Regnier and Michelle Ross, both of Lawrence, Darchille Ross, Kansas City, Kan., and Lisa Ross, Sonia Ross and Kim Ross, all of Detroit.

Family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to American Liver Foundation Missouri Chapter or the Lawrence Humane Society, sent in care of the mortuary.
