Cub Scout Pack 3055, chartered to Westside Presbyterian Church, had a special Bobcat ceremony during its May 15 meeting. Six boys also advanced to Wolf at the meeting. The new Wolf Cubs are Cory Church, Donovan Ellis, James Lindsey, Sam Pyle, John Ross and Gavin Spence. All of these boys received their Bobcat badges and their Wolf scarves.

Cub Scout Pack 3051, chartered to Pinckney School, had its annual advancement/kite flying meeting on May 24 at Prairie Park. The following Scouts, all of whom advanced in rank, attended: Diamond Brockaway, Dakota Zinn, Austin Garner, Grant Stone, Spencer Wilson, Johnathan Roberts, Jamie Braden, Christopher Sloan, Zachary Curran, Kelly Dunaway and Patrick Shields. Adult leaders who attended were Christy Curran, Scott Braden, Cammie Braden, Linda Sloan, Harold Aiken, Gerie Aiken, Margot Cameron and Rod Zinn.
