The Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Jayhawk Unit 22, recently conducted an installation ceremony for its 2003 officers. Marjorie Ybarra, past state commander and a member of Unit 22, installed the officers. The new officers are Juanita Hunter, commander; Helga Barton, senior vice commander; Wanda Allen, junior vice commander; Shirley Brandes, adjutant; Reba Bryant, treasurer, and Onas Waltho, chaplain.

The University Bridge Club announces the winners of its May 10 gathering. Virginia Williams, Florence McNicoll and Alice Akins were hostesses.

Blue winners were George Bocquin, first; Florence McNicoll, second; Bud Lukens, third; Roy Cropp, fourth, and Carl Schaake, fifth.

Pink winners were Ailene Bocquin, first; Alice Akins, second; Gini Wigington, third; Cathy Waller, fourth, and Jean Whitaker, fifth.
