Belleville, Mich. ? Lawrence’s Bob Glass was in 14th place after Sunday’s first round of the Senior PBA Greater Detroit Open.

Glass had an eight-game pinfall total of 1,767. Roy Buckley, of New Albany, Ohio, leads with 2,090 at Lodge Lanes.

The entire 135-man field will return today for the second eight-game qualifying round.

The top 32 after today’s round will return Tuesday morning for single-elimination, best-of-five-games match play.

Match play continues Tuesday afternoon with an additional best-of-five in the Round of 16, followed by the best-of-three-game match play in the Round of Eight.

The Round of Four will begin Tuesday evening.

The finalists will compete for the title and the $8,000 first-place prize Tuesday night.
