Wagle to appear on MSNBC tonight

Kansas State Sen. Susan Wagle will once again voice her disapproval of a KU sex education class on a nationally televised show tonight.

Wagle, R-Wichita, is expected to appear on MSNBC’s “Scarborough Country” at 9 p.m. to discuss sexual material and academic freedom with host Joe Scarborough. It will be the second time this week that the senator, who appeared on Fox News’ “The O’Reilly Factor” Tuesday, will have been featured on national television.

Wagle — based on information from Jessica Zahn, a student in professor Dennis Dailey’s sex-ed class — has accused Dailey of showing pornographic videos, using foul language and sexually harassing students.

Also expected to appear on “Scarborough Country” is former Surgeon General Joycelyn Elders, who stirred up controversy in the 1990s by supporting the mention of masturbation in sex education courses in public schools.
