Marjorie Darleen Emerson

? Services for Marjorie Darleen Emerson, 83, Baldwin, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at United Parish Church in Lenora. Burial will be in Lenora South Cemetery.

Mrs. Emerson died Thursday, March 27, 2003, at Baldwin Care Center.

She was born June 17, 1919, in Waterville, the daughter of Joel and Nina (Winklepleck) Moden. She grew up in Waterville and attended public elementary and high schools there. She lived in Iowa for two years before moving to Norton County in 1944.

Mrs. Emerson was a member of Lenora United Parish Church, Pennyless Club, Pollyanna Club and Order of Eastern Star.

She married Donald Emerson on Dec. 25, 1940, in Waterville. He died in 1964.

Survivors include a daughter, Melva Roberts, Lawrence; two sisters, Della Wright, Norton, and Melva Ford, Medford, Ore.; and three grandchildren.

A granddaughter died earlier.

Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Enfield Funeral Home in Norton.
