The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic in the region this week:

U.S. Highway 75, at 46th Street, traffic detoured through roundabout for construction.

Interstate Highway 70, westbound lanes from the Wabaunsee County line to the Valencia interchange, traffic reduced to one lane to prepare for reconstruction of eastbound lanes.

Interstate Highway 35, at Southwest Boulevard, northbound exit and southbound entrance ramps closed for bridge replacement.

The following city construction projects may affect traffic this week:

North Michigan, no through traffic north of the Woodcreek Town homes entrance to Riverridge Road, for road improvements.

North Eighth Street and North Ninth Street crossings, closed to through traffic for railroad intersection repair.

Eighth Street, Kentucky Street to New Hampshire Street, intermittently reduced to one lane for waterline installation.

19th Terrace; 20th Street; 20th Terrace; 21st Street, Stewart Avenue to east of Naismith Drive; and Ousdahl Road, 19th Street to 21st Street, periodical closure to through traffic for storm sewer improvements.

21st Street, closed, Massachusetts Street to the alley west of Vermont for storm sewer improvements.

Haskell Avenue., 19th Street to Lynn Street, occasional narrowed lanes both north- and southbound, for waterline installation.

31st Street, Ousdahl Road to Iowa Street, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for road improvements.
