Dorothy Maxine Warren

? Services for Dorothy Maxine Warren, 81, Edgerton, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Wellsville United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Wellsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Warren died Friday, Feb. 28, 2003, at her home.

She was born April 28, 1921, near Wellsville, the daughter of Walter Seymour and Mary Manville (Post) Scott. She grew up in the Wellsville area and graduated from Wellsville High School in 1939.

Mrs. Warren worked for post offices in Wellsville and Edgerton for 26 years before she retired in 1987. She was a member of Wellsville United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, American Legion Auxiliary, Eastern Star, Rock Creek Community Club, Wellsville Fit-N-Fun Club and Burean Sunday School class.

She married Paul Warren on Oct. 25, 1942, in Wellsville. He died Aug. 4, 1989.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Scott Warren, San Francisco, David Paul Warren, Ottawa, and Joe Stanley Warren, Edgerton; a daughter, Paula Sue Warren Hughes, Ottawa; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Wilson’s Funeral Home in Wellsville.
