No swimming lessons this morning — that’s the word from the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Aquatic Division.

Because of the inclement weather, all the Learn to Swim programs were canceled at all locations, the division announced Monday morning.

Programs cancelled were the following: Parent/Infant; Parent/Tot; Level 1 Pre-Beginner; Level 2 Beginner; Level 3 Advanced Beginner; Level 4 Intermediate; Level 5 Advanced Intermediate; Level 6 Swimmer; Level 7 Advanced Swimmer and Adult swim classes.

Monday’s swimming lessons at the Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive, the Outdoor Aquatic Center, 747 Kentucky St., and Carl Knox Natatorium, 1101 George Williams Way, have been rescheduled for Friday at their regularly scheduled time.
