Donald Duane Fiehler

? ervices for Donald Duane Fiehler, 70, Wellsville, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Wilson’s Funeral Home, Wellsville. Inurnment will be at Wellsville Cemetery.

Mr. Fiehler died Thursday, June 12, 2003, at Shawnee Mission Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 10, 1932, in Topeka, the son of John Donald and Irene Elizabeth (Carpenter) Fiehler. He graduated from Wellsville High School in 1950.

Mr. Fiehler served as a U.S. Army paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division during the Korean War. He earned a Bronze Star and was honorably discharged in 1953.

He owned several contract maintenance facilities for concrete trucks in Kansas City, Kan., Wellsville, and in Texas before his retirement in 1991. He was a member of Wellsville American Legion.

He married Joanne Tucker in 1976 in Oklahoma. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his mother, Baldwin; two sons, Dirk Tucker, Stilwell and Tom Berry, Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters, Jill Antoine, Olathe, Carol Ward, Kansas City, Mo. and Jan Berry, San Antonio; a sister, Judith Forkell, Broomfield, Colo.; and nine grandchildren.

A daughter, Margaret Diane Fiehler, died in 1982.
