Charles E. Glanzer

? Services for Charles E. Glanzer, 49, Topeka, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Topeka. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Winkler.

Mr. Glanzer died Sunday, June 15, 2003, at KU Med.

He was born May 27, 1954, in Clay Center, the son of Earl and Ada Glanzer.

He graduated in 1972 from Blue Valley High School in Randolph. He attended Cloud County Community College in Concordia and Washburn University in Topeka, and graduated from Clark’s Business College, Topeka.

Mr. Glanzer was an assistant bookkeeper from 1976-1986 for Crane and Co. in Topeka and manager in 1986-1988 of Crane and Co. in Lawrence. He then was director of finance and operations for Kansas District Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and Busch-Heartland Pool League of America.

Survivors include his mother, of Randolph; and a brother, Steve, of Randolph.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel in Topeka, where the family will greet friends from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today.
