Disaster assistance deadline approaches

The deadline for Federal Disaster Unemployment Assistance is today. The assistance was made available for victims within counties struck by tornados, including Douglas County.

Those who may be eligible for aid must be individuals who lost their jobs directly because of the disaster, are unavailable to reach their job or were to start employment but were prevented by the disaster.
