Lucile Daisy Elliott

HUMBOLDT ? Services for Lucile Daisy Elliott, 96, Humboldt, were Wednesday at Humboldt United Methodist Church. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt.

Mrs. Elliott died Sunday, June 8, 2003, at Pinecrest Nursing Home, Humboldt.

She was born Nov. 29, 1906, in Horse Cave, Ky., the daughter of Robert B. and Ora (Payton) Bale. She graduated from high school in West Plains, Mo.

Mrs. Elliott was a homemaker. She was a member of Humboldt United Methodist Church.

She married Arthur Elliot on Jan. 26, 1925, in West Plains, Mo. He died Sept. 22, 1995.

Survivors include six daughters, Edna Mae Culp, Petrolia, Lorieta Long, Hazel Robb and Jean Lindsey, all of Humboldt, Joan Snodgrass, Lawrence, and Judy Middendorf, Shell Knob, Mo.; a brother, Robert E. Bale, Ballwin, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Ruth Mueller, died Aug. 28, 2000. Two infant children also died earlier.
