The end is near for the “Lizzie McGuire” (6:30 p.m., Disney) franchise. The wildly popular show’s doom was all but sealed after iconic ‘tween star Hilary Duff and her manager/mother engaged in a public tiff with the Mickey Mouse empire. So tonight’s half-hour story is one of “Lizzie’s” last.

Corporate malfeasance looms large in tonight’s episode when a finance company sends an unsolicited credit card to Lizzie’s pal Gordo (Adam Lamberg). Not even the levelheaded Gordo can resist the temptation of a $5,000 line of credit. The formerly sensible tightwad goes wild and uses the card to bankroll his own sci-fi movie. The project spins out of control after his cast of pals begins to behave like spoiled stars. Are the creators of “Lizzie McGuire” trying to tell us something?

• Far stranger kid fare can be found on “The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy” (6 p.m., Cartoon Network). For the uninitiated, this odd little ‘toon concerns the peculiar friendship between a sweet but brainless boy, a worldly wise and surly girl, and the Grim Reaper himself. Apparently the series’ shock value premise is a big hit with young boys. Tonight’s first vignette, “Toadblatt’s School of Sorcery,” presents a send-up of all things Harry Potter. Another tale, “It’s Hokey, Mon!” lampoons the nefarious trading card industry.
• While shot in live-action, the two-hour cable comedy “The Even Stevens Movie” (7 p.m., Disney) is really a cartoon at heart. Just when you think the show is really about Louis’ (Shia LaBeouf, “Holes”) latest invention (a high-tech chair that enables him to do nothing at all), the family is whisked away to a tropical island paradise. Once there, hijinks ensue. Christy Carlson Romano stars as Ren, a recent junior high grad who behaves as if she’s about to turn 35.
• For those over 14, Turner Classic Movies reels off several films co-starring real-life husbands and wives. Bette Davis and Gary Merrill reprise their “All About Eve” chemistry in the 1951 drama “Another Man’s Poison” (7 p.m.). Before Debbie Reynolds and husband Eddie Fisher busted up in the Eisenhower era’s most scandalous divorce, they starred in the 1956 comedy “Bundle of Joy” (9 p.m.). And Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz reprise their small-screen shenanigans in the 1954 comedy “The Long, Long Trailer” (11 p.m.).
