CLINTON LAKE (5-29) — Water 68 degrees and .5 feet above normal pool. Crappie fair with fish moving to summer haunts. Minnows and jigs producing some fish at 5-10 feet. Walleye fair using jig and nightcrawler on flats.

PERRY LAKE (5-21) — Water 65 degrees and 3.3 feet below normal pool. Channel catfish fair on stinky stuff in shallows. White bass fair on twisters and small spinners off rocky points.. White crappie fair on tube jigs or minnows. Fish are moving back out to 6-8 feet.

DOUGLAS STATE LAKE (5-29) — Bluegill good on nightcrawlers, meal worms and crickets. Channel catfish good on nightcrawlers, shad, turkey or chicken liver. Flathead catfish good on nightcrawlers, large shiners, goldfish or green sunfish. Green sunfish good on pieces of worm, tiny jigs and flies under bobber near shore. Largemouth bass fair on minnows, jigs, plastic worms and nightcrawlers.

LEAVENWORTH STATE LAKE (5-29) — Bluegill fair on pieces of worm and crickets under bobber. Channel catfish fair on nightcrawlers, poultry liver and Bee-Jay around feeders. Crappie fair with good numbers being caught jigging over aeration system bubbles. Largemouth bass good mainly on plastic worms in open water between shore and weed beds.

LONE STAR LAKE (5-29) — Bluegill good using pieces of worm under bobber. Crappie fair using jigs at 3-10 feet. Largemouth bass fair using plastic lizards and worms.

LAKE SHAWNEE (5-29) — Channel catfish fair on nightcrawlers, chicken liver and dough bait. Crappie fair with most being caught in deeper water on jigs. Largemouth bass fair on spinnerbaits, shallow running crankbaits, plastic lizards and worms.
