Carol W. Sneegas

Mrs. Sneegas died Saturday, May 31, 2003, in Ottawa.

She was born Jan. 15, 1934, in Topeka, the daughter of Carl D. and Esther (Benander) Miller. She graduated in 1951 from Liberty Memorial High School and from Kansas University in 1955.

Mrs. Sneegas worked at India School and Derby Grain. She was also a secretary in the KU registrar’s office. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its choir.

She married Donald R. Sneegas on March 16, 1956, in Marianna, Fla. He survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Randall C. Sneegas, Lawrence, Donald R. Sneegas Jr., Carrollton, Texas, and Steven W. Sneegas, Roeland Park; and two grandsons.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of the mortuary.
