Moses services

Memorial services for Gerald Byron “Jerry” Moses, 42, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.

Mr. Moses died Friday, July 11, 2003, at his home. He was cremated.

He was born June 30, 1961, in Ottawa, the son of Bruce and Marilyn (Bush) Moses. He attended Ottawa High School.

Mr. Moses served in the U.S. Navy in 1977 and 1978. He owned and operated FWF LLC Framing Contractors with his wife. He sponsored children in motorcross racing and was a member of the Home Builders Assn.

He married Stephanie Scraper, who survives, of Lawrence.

Other survivors include a son, Kenny, Florida; three daughters, Megan Moses, Amanda Moses and Katie Moses, all of Florida; his mother and stepfather, Marilyn and Russell Wiggins, Lawrence; his father and stepmother, Bruce and Jan Moses, Vassar; a sister, Sabra Moses, Ottawa; a brother, Tal, Warrensburg, Mo.; grandparents, Dorothy and Lester Whitley, Iola; and a granddaughter.

The family suggests memorials to Ronald McDonald House of Topeka, sent in care of the funeral home.
