ENID, OKLA. ? Aaron Madill pitched a complete-game two-hitter Wednesday afternoon, and the Lawrence Raiders American Legion baseball team opened the Enid, Okla., tournament with a 6-0 victory against Raytown, Mo.

Madill struck out six batters and walked one, improving his record to 5-0.

Derek Bailey was 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Andrew Pyle had a hit and knocked in a pair of runs for the Raiders.

All seven of the Raiders’ hits were singles, and the Raiders also benefited from five Raytown errors. Lawrence faces tournament-host Enid at 7:30 tonight.

Lawrence improved to 20-8 overall.
