Shawnee ? Despite a combined 23 points from Linaya Newstrom and Laura Hoffman, Lawrence Seabury Academy fell to Midland Adventist, 45-41 in overtime, Tuesday in high school girls basketball.

“We don’t have very much experience with close games or overtime situations, but hopefully this will be a learning experience for us,” Seabury coach Tracy Kitson said.

Newstrom led the Seahawks with 12 points, and Hoffman added 11. Lindsey Ahlen chipped in eight.

Seabury (2-6) will play host to Flint Hills Christian Friday at the East Lawrence Recreation Center.
