Austin, Texas ? At 799 career victories and counting, Texas coach Jody Conradt has seen her share of blowouts.

Chalk up one more for the 20th-ranked Longhorns.

Heather Schreiber scored 23 points and grabbed 14 rebounds Saturday in a 70-50 win against Baylor, pushing Conradt within one victory of joining Tennessee’s Pat Summitt as the only women’s coaches to reach 800.

Conradt can reach the plateau Wednesday night with a win over No. 7 Texas Tech. She is 799-262 in 34 seasons. Conradt said she’s not thinking about No. 800. For her, the season is all about winning Texas’ first Big 12 title.

“The focus should be on our team,” Conradt said. “I want this team to contend for a conference championship.”

Summitt became the first woman in the 800 club Tuesday when No. 5 Tennessee beat DePaul. In their only head-to-head matchup this season, Conradt’s Longhorns toppled the Vols, 63-62, on Dec. 21.

Schreiber hit three consecutive three-pointers as the Longhorns (11-4, 4-0 Big 12) opened a 15-2 lead.

Texas’ five three-pointers in the first half were the most in a game since the Longhorns hit seven against Tennessee.

The Bears (12-3, 1-2) are the Big 12’s highest scoring team at 83 points per game. But against Texas, Baylor hit just 19 of 72 shots with a 1-of-13 effort from three-point range and committed 19 turnovers.

Conradt won a national championship in 1986 and was the first women’s coach to reach 700 victories. She and Summitt started the season tied with 788 wins.

No. 7 Texas Tech 95, OSU 45

Lubbock, Texas — Jia Perkins scored 16 points as No. 7 Texas Tech won its 15th straight game. Plenette Pierson added 13 points for the Red Raiders (15-1, 4-0 Big 12), who have not lost since the opener against Louisiana Tech. Trisha Skibbe led Oklahoma State (5-10, 1-3) with 16 points.

Norman, Okla. — Maria Villarroel scored 21 points to lead Oklahoma past Texas A&M. The Sooners (11-5, 2-1 Big 12) held Texas A&M (8-7, 1-3) to 25 percent shooting to beat the Aggies for the ninth straight time.
