Panthers’ Knight sustains concussion

Pittsburgh — Pittsburgh star point guard Brandin Knight sustained a concussion when he collided with Syracuse center Craig Forth early in the second half of Saturday’s Big East game.

Knight was coming down the floor on defense when he rammed into Forth, who was setting a pick well above the three-point line.

Seton Hall-Miami game delayed by power outage

East Rutherford, N.J. — The Big East basketball game between Seton Hall and Miami was delayed 15 minutes Saturday by a power failure in the opening minutes.

Play was stopped 2:33 into the game when Continental Airlines Arena went nearly dark. The game resumed about 15 minutes later after crews got emergency generators started.
