Bush to visit St. Louis

? President Bush will travel Wednesday to St. Louis to promote his economic plan, the White House said Friday.

Bush will make remarks at a roundtable discussion with area leaders, White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said.

The setting will be similar to Bush’s visit Thursday to Pennsylvania, Stanzel said. There, Bush pushed for another of his priorities: limiting the amount injured patients can win from doctors as a solution to the high cost of malpractice insurance.

The last time Bush visited the St. Louis area, he was in St. Charles on the eve of Election Day to campaign for Republican Jim Talent, who won.
