Area Boys Roundup: Osage City buries Baldwin

? Osage City’s boys basketball team outscored Baldwin 13-3 in the first quarter Tuesday night and rolled to a 61-48 victory.

“We missed open layups in abundance,” Baldwin coach Jeff Haas said. “We were in preseason form.”

Andy Hannon scored 22 points for the Bulldogs (2-7), but Baldwin could not overcome its early deficit.

“We made some solid runs in the second half with the press, but we had dug ourselves too deep a hole and had to foul at the end,” Haas said.
