Kansas moves up two spots in AP Top 25

Opening the Big 12 season with two convincing victories has helped the KU men’s basketball team move up two spots to No. 12 in the latest AP Top 25 poll. The Jayhawks (11-3) received 1,028 votes – more than 200 more than last week.

Duke (11-0) is still the No. 1-ranked team after topping previously undefeated Wake Forest (10-1) on Saturday. The Blue Devils, who received 57 of 72 first-place votes, are the only undefeated Div. I men’s team.

Other ranked Big 12 schools include No. 4 Texas (10-2), No. 5 Oklahoma (10-2), No. 11 Missouri (10-1) and No. 24 Oklahoma State (12-1). Texas Tech and Kansas State also received votes.
