Tye Chadwicke Carter

? Services for Tye Chadwicke Carter, 33, Forsyth, will be today at The River Church in Forsyth. A private Memorial Mass will be Tuesday in Lawrence, Kan. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Lawrence.

Mr. Carter died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, in Forsyth after suffering a heart attack.

He was born June 27, 1969, in Lawrence, the son of Ed and Becky Carter, Lawrence. He graduated from Lawrence High School and had lived in Forsyth the past eight years.

He was attending college in Springfield, Mo., where he received Phi Beta Kappa honors and was named to a National Dean’s List.

He married Pamela Jackson. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his children, Kaylin Carter, Lawrence, and Chessa Carter, Olivia Jackson and Chris Jackson, all of Forsyth, three sisters, Kelli Wenger, Kayla Riley and Rebecca Chavez, all of Lawrence; a brother, Hugh, Denver; and a grandmother, Cleo Burgin Walthour, Pittsburg, Kan.

Friends are invited to gather at the family’s Lawrence home at 5 p.m. Tuesday to celebrate his life.

The family suggests memorials to the Ronald McDonald House of Springfield, sent in care of Warren McElwain Mortuary.
