Maxine M. Aupperle

? Services for Maxine M. Aupperle, 83, Hutchinson, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary Chapel in Hutchinson. Burial will be in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson.

Mrs. Aupperle died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at Hutchinson Hospital.

She was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Fred G. and Minnie (Krueger) Smith. She graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1939 and was a lifelong Hutchinson resident.

Mrs. Aupperle was a cream tester at Meriden Creamery. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary No. 1361 and Ark Valley Sams RV Club and was a former P.E.O. member.

She married Paul Aupperle on July 19, 1941, in Hutchinson. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Barb Forbes, Lawrence; a son, Ron Aupperle, Lenexa; two sisters, Twillia Rogers, Wichita, and Phyllis Drumhiller, Anderson, S.C.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to the VFW Auxiliary Cancer Fund or the church, sent in care of the funeral home, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson 67501.
