Perry-Lecompton boys dump SFT for fourth straight win

? David Higgins scored 15 points and Luke Tyner added 10 as Perry-Lecompton’s boys basketball team stretched its winning streak to four games with a 55-44 victory Friday over Santa Fe Trail.

“We’re pretty dang proud of our kids,” Perry coach Pat Hupfauf said. “We were struggling early, but the kids have played well the last two weeks. We’re 8-10 going into sub-state with two to go, and I think we have a chance to win the last two.”

Shane Miles led SFT with 19 points, and Cameron Babb added 11.
