The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic in the region this week:

U.S. Highway 75 at 46th Street, Topeka, traffic detoured through roundabout for construction.

Kansas University men’s basketball vs. Iowa State, noon today, at Allen Fieldhouse, KU campus.

KU men’s basketball vs. Colorado, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, at Allen Fieldhouse, KU campus.

The following city construction projects may affect traffic this week:

North Michigan Street, no through traffic north of the Woodcreek Town Homes entrance to Riverridge Road for road improvements.

North Third Street, North Seventh Street, North Eighth Street and North Ninth Street railroad crossings, closed to through traffic for railroad intersection repair.

19th Terrace; 20th Street; 20th Terrace; 21st Street, Stewart Avenue to east of Naismith Drive; and Ousdahl Road, 19th Street to 21st Street; closed to through traffic for storm sewer improvements.

31st Street, Ousdahl Road to Iowa Street, traffic reduced to one lane each direction for road improvements.
