Services for Bryona P. Wiley, 77, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. April 16 at Cottonwood Inc.

Mrs. Wiley died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was cremated.

She was born July 2, 1925, in Baldwin, the daughter of Everett D. and Vida L. (Deay) Pence. She grew up in Eudora and graduated from Eudora High School.

Mrs. Wiley worked at Weaver’s Department Store and was a co-founder of Cottonwood Inc. She served on the board at Cottonwood and on the Cottonwood Foundation Board until recently. She was a member of Chapter GQ of P.E.O. and Lawrence Country Club and was a past president of Kansas Association of Retarded Citizens.

She married Lyman T. Wiley on Dec. 5, 1942, in Eudora. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Ted Wiley, Lawrence; a daughter, Teri Wiley, Lawrence; a sister, Mary Butcher, Florida; and three grandchildren.
