Jacqueline Marie Leonard

KANSAS CITY, KAN. ? Graveside services for Jacqueline Marie Leonard, 78, Oskaloosa, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Kansas City, Kan.

Mrs. Leonard died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at Hickory Pointe Care Center in Oskaloosa.

She was born March 19, 1924, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Russell Edward and Evelyn Marie (Ackerman) Morris. She graduated from Washington Rural High School in Kansas City, Kan., where she lived most of her life.

Mrs. Leonard was a retired bookkeeper for Constructions Plastics Corp. in Kansas City, Mo.

She married Lawrence Leonard on Sept. 23, 1961, in Miami, Okla. He died March 15, 2001.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Hicks, Libby, Mont., and Kevin Leonard, Fort Bragg, N.C.; a daughter, Karen M. McMackin, McLouth; a stepdaughter, Janet Loftis, Sedalia, Mo.; and 11 grandchildren.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa, where family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
